Today I got a message in my Facebook Inbox that really inspired me and I want to share it with you. It is written by Elinor Stutz of Smooth Sale Community and reminds us all of the power of Opportunity.
Did you know saying Yes to Opportunity is the single best way to advance your business?
Attracting clients and closing more sales is dependent upon overcoming our fear of taking calculated risks.
Tips for Opportunity:
1. When an opportunity is presented, no matter how much it scares you, say “Yes”!
2. Should the opportunity be beyond your capability, seek help to deliver on the promise.
3. Facing fear: Dale Carnegie suggested bottom-lining the fear by asking, “What’s the worst that can happen?” Usually, it’s not that bad and the upside is far stronger.
4. Each time you accept opportunity, you become stronger and more confident in your ability.
5. Worst case, if the opportunity does not work perfectly, use it as a learning experience and you will still win.
6. Best case, if the opportunity works superbly, you are then able to conquer the next rung in the ladder.
7. Accepting opportunity is your marketing message that you are, flexible, a leader in your field and willing to jump in to help.
8. Accepting opportunity will spread more good word of mouth about you and your business.
9. Accepting opportunity brings about additional opportunity.
10. Opportunities bring about new audiences and prospects converting to new clients.
11. Opportunities generate excitement within you, attracting new clients and the ability to build additional relationships.
12. Accepting opportunity and overcoming your fear will help generate far more revenue!
Be seen as a leader, accept opportunity as it comes your way. The more you accept and show your appreciation, the more frequently it will be offered to you, and the more comfortably you will become accepting the unknown.
Reciprocate by providing opportunity for others or alerting them to it and you will have friends for life. Promote each other and your business development will soar!
